Welcome to the DEM Research Page

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine has a long history of contribution to the specialty, with regards to clinical excellence and education. Our publication rate, over the last two years places 12th among 214 Emergency Medicine training programs in the country. We anticipate that our current focus on obtaining extramural funding will be met with the same success. We have assembled a dedicated group of faculty, modified clinical duties to allow "time"for scientific pursuit, and earmarked financial resources in an effort to meet this new challenge.
